Be Like Beaver — Use HVPAK

HVPAKs are so user-friendly that even beavers use them to create appliances for their homes. Everyone needs a Flashlight, even a beaver. An Electric Screwdriver and a Toy Car are other examples of commonly used devices. And what if we say that all these can be done with the help of our HVPAK SLG47105 from GreenPAK™ broad family and a few extra components?

HVPAK SLG47105 is a small motor driver IC with low power consumption, flexible configuration, and additional logic. The power supply voltage is up to 13.2 V at 2 A of maximum current per output. The SLG47105 has integrated two H- or four Half-Bridges. In combination with advanced PWM blocks, overcurrent and over-temperature protection you get unique and universal solutions.

But it’s one thing to talk about abstract features, quite another to see HVPAK SLG47105 in action. Below are three different projects — a Toy Car, an Electric Screwdriver, and an LED Flashlight. What they have in common — The brain of these rechargeable devices is our SLG47105. Not only can you make a motor driver with HVPAK SLG47105, but you can also add the Constant Current, Constant Voltage charger to the same design, which is ideal for small rechargeable batteries.

Toy Car for Magic Track

The Magic Track Toy Car has small size and provides fast and efficient movement on the track, allowing children to enjoy high-speed races and exciting adventures.

All this is thanks to SLG47105. Just one design and you get constant voltage on the motor, regardless of the battery charge, possibility to choose different speeds and directions of movement. In addition, you don’t need to search for the ON/OFF button: there is an implemented capability “Push-to-Start / Hold-to-Stop”. Thanks to the Hold-to-Stop functionality, the car automatically turns off when it’s stuck. So, if the child directs it somewhere and forgets about the toy, the car will switch off and will not consume more power, thus saving the battery. The battery charger control is also implemented, so you don’t need any additional IC.

Electric Screwdriver

Electric screwdrivers allow you to significantly reduce the time and efforts required to unscrew or tighten fasteners, compared to a manual screwdriver. They also allow for greater precision and avoid damaging screws and bolts.

Our based on HV PAK SLG47105 Electric Screwdriver has various functions, such as reverse (change of direction of rotation), adjustment of torque (rotation force), LED illumination of the working area, Li-ion battery charger, and others. All in one IC!

LED Flashlight

Increasingly, people prefer LED flashlights due to their many advantages: energy saving, longevity, brightness, versatility, small size, and others.

Can you imagine the LED Flashlight with a constant brightness regardless of battery charge, strobe light, selectable brightness modes, and a Li-ion battery charger, and all these in one IC? SLG47105 allows you to implement all these features in your Flashlight.
